Candle-Style or Shaded Chandelier? Compare Real Footage
A chandelier can look beautiful in one photograph and still feel wrong for a room. Its outline, the space between its arms, and the way its lights appear from different angles all matter. Two additions to the Tianguang Real Video Gallery offer a useful comparison: a tall candle-style chandelier with clear drops, and a curved-arm chandelier with shades.
Each video has a reference number, TG-V068 or TG-V069, so you can tell our team exactly which design you want to discuss. Both clips show actual fixtures in our workshop testing environment. The original iPhone footage retains its recorded lighting and sound; a Tianguang watermark identifies the footage.
TG-V068: a tall silhouette with layered detail

The first fixture has a distinctly vertical composition. Candle-style lights sit among clear curved arms, with bead strands and hanging drops adding detail at several levels. As the camera moves closer, the open spaces between those elements become easier to see. The lights create visible highlights across the clear decorative pieces.
If you are considering a chandelier for a tall entry or a room with generous ceiling height, this video is a useful starting point for discussing proportions. It does not establish whether this particular fixture will fit. Check the complete installed height, including its suspension and lowest drop, before judging it against your space.
TG-V069: curved arms and a shaded outline

The second fixture presents a different outline: dark curved arms spread outward beneath pale, rounded shades that narrow toward the top. The shades glow warmly in the recording, while the frame remains visually defined against the gray background. Compared with the layered drops of TG-V068, the repeated shade shapes give this design a simpler rhythm.
Look at how the fixture appears from underneath as well as from the side. For a dining area, consider both the view across the table and the view when entering the room. The recording can help you assess the shape, but it cannot confirm brightness, exact light color, or dimming performance.
Measure the room before choosing the chandelier
Do not compare the apparent sizes of the two fixtures on screen. One video is vertical and the other horizontal, and the camera moves at different distances. Prepare these measurements instead:
- Room and ceiling: record the room length, width, and ceiling height at the proposed mounting point. Note any slope, beam, or ceiling recess.
- Furniture below: measure the table or island and mark its final position. A light centered on the ceiling may not be centered over the furniture.
- Available hanging space: identify the desired lowest point and the clearance needed for people, doors, and nearby furniture. Ask your installer to confirm appropriate clearances.
- Fixture dimensions: request overall width, body height, and available suspension lengths. Include the lowest decorative drop in the total height.
- Access and support: share details of the ceiling connection, installation access, and any stairwell or narrow doorway. Have a qualified installer assess the required support once the fixture weight and mounting details are confirmed.
Use real footage to ask better questions
Our iPhone footage lets you inspect the visible fixture without a styled room obscuring its outline. Pause on the arm arrangement, the spacing of decorative elements, and the appearance of the lights when illuminated. Screen settings, camera exposure, and the surrounding surfaces can all affect how light appears.
Before ordering, ask for the actual dimensions, materials, finish, electrical configuration, light-source details, and any relevant certification documentation. If dimming matters, confirm compatibility with your intended controls. None of those specifications should be inferred from the appearance of a video alone.
Turn a gallery reference into a custom lighting inquiry
To explore a similar design, send our team TG-V068 or TG-V069, along with room photos, ceiling height, furniture dimensions, delivery location, and the changes you would like to discuss. Explain whether your priority is a taller silhouette, a different overall width, a different finish, or a particular lighting effect.
Use our Custom Lighting inquiry page to request a quote and discuss CAD drawings. Our team can review the information needed to assess your request; dimensions, specifications, feasibility, and the quotation should be confirmed before you approve an order.
